I would saythe perfect Rogue would be Sarah Mechel (sp?) Gellar frome Buffy.
And for the mage Westly Snipes(sp?) from Blade. As for the warrior Keven
Sorbo (bad sp) frome Herculease.

Diablo movie would be cool. Tony Todd is the name of the Candyman
actor; he would make a good sorcerer. The warrior could be a young unknown
but the rogue must be Drew Barrymore.

Legend was an awesome movie, and that Diabloish guy is very cool. :)

Drew Barrymore is too fat to be the rogue and I can't stand her voice. That
Cinderella type movie she was in was playing in the movie store and she was
horrible!

In the movie Legend, Tim Curry played Satan's son (the devil looking dude). His
voice and mannerisms, not to mention the abundant use of prosthetics, made him
until a quite believable hellspawn.

Rogue: The babe in Long Kiss Goodnight, don't know her name though.
Warrior / Barbarian: Dolph Lundgren (DOLT LUNNNGREEEEENNNNN!!)
Sorceror: Wesley Snipes, or the Marcello guy in Pulp Fiction

Tony Todd is very cool. And he's also been in just about every SF series
currently on television (played an alien hunter on Star Trek: Voyager,
and a Klingon in at least one of the other Star Trek franchises, and I
think he was on Blab-a-lot 5 too but I can't remember as whom).

The horny guy in "Legend" is Tim Curry, believe it or not. The same guy
who played the transvestite in "The Rocky Horror Picture Show". Versatile
actor. :-)

No way! Sarah michelle geller might be an ok rogue, but Wesly Snipes as the
sorcerer? The sorcerer is as thin as Ally Mcbeal! Laurence Fishburne might
not be that thin, but he is thinner than Wesly Snipes.

God, I miss this series. Honestly, I thought it was the best thing

bizzarre toward the end. :(

Goofy...satarizes everything it could...Heavy environmentalist

great. ;) Can't call this show a "cartoon" really, though. Live action
animatronics.

Another one I miss. I thought the episode of Peter "growing up" was
excellent. It had a neat..."feel" to it.

Tim Curry and he is Wayyyyy kewl at playing baddies LOL He gets my vote.

Ok my cast for D.
Rogue has to be a firey redhead with a bit of a tude. Hmmm Nana Visitor?
(Kira on DS9) Need to think about this one
Sorcerer has to be Wesley Snipes AAAAAAAAaahahahahah I can see him bopping

barbarian without a doubt is Richard Moll. (tall dude from Nightcourt) What

Well so far its a lock for Snipes as the Sorcerer. I can handle Sorbo as the
Warrior but we are still undecided on the rogue eh? LOLOLOL What about Kes

Ugh, please. He speaks like he's from Austria. Cimmeria was, IIRC,
somewhere in the vincinity of northern Russia, and the accent would be even
worse if they used him for Conan the King. Or Quetzlcoatl the King.

My votes:

Cain: Sean Connery

Griz: James Doohan

Adria: Glen Close

Gillian: Kate Winslet

Farnahm: Red Skelton is dead, so I guess that leaves .... I cant'
think of his name, the old guy in 3rd rock

Wirt: Name your most hated actor here. Leonardo di Caprio in my book.

Warrior: Kevin Sorbo

Rogue: Yasmeen Ghauri (I know she doesn't act or have red hair but, I
just want to see more of her)

Sorcerer: Samuel L. Jackson

Succubi (et al): Just pick them up at the Playboy mansion

The Butcher: John Malchovich

King Leoric: Nicholas Cage

Prince Albrecht: Wil Wheaton (in other words, I hate his acting, I
wouldn't mind seeing him dead tho)

Lachadan: Mel Gibson? Girls you are going to have to help me out here

Diablo: Tim Curry of course. But after reading his resume, I think he
could play just about any part.

Well I can only think of one actor who consistently plays evil types (and well)...Larry
Linville :)

This is the best list so far!
Although, I think that if they made a movie, they might be able to improve
wirts character.
It hurts me to say this (you have no idea!), but DiCaprio would play wirt
very well.
Sure, titanic stunk, and pretty much every other one of his movies, but has
anyone seen Whats Eating Gilbert Grape? He plays retards well.

Good point, how about Chris Rock.

Chris Rock? HAHAHAHAHA.
I think Denzel Washington might be able to pull of the sinister half evil
"will he kill me, or help me?" thing.
But if they ever made a movie out of Diablo, they would hollywood-ise it,
and make it horrible.
Will Smith would probably end up playing the Sorcerer.

I don't actually have a name here but the sorcerer is supposed to be someone
proficient in magic, not physical abilities. The 2 actors that have been
suggested Snipes and Jackson are both fairly big guys that are more suited
to a role that is more physically orientated. Unless of course the mage will
be of the tank type rather than artillery, in which case they will need to
be strong enough to wear something heavier than Naj's plate. A slightly more
complex casting decision that would require some knowledge of the script.

And where do you guys leave Sir Anthony Hopkins and Mister
Jack Nicholson? :) I mean....can't you see Hopkins playing Laz, with
that solemn but evil accent of his? And Nicholson doing one more of
his great Big D creations? :)

As for the rest of the cast...I'll leave that tho others :)

Well we are just casting the game as is I was presuming VBG If you look at
the pic of the mage he isnt that skinny and he is a black man so I was going
with black actors that could pull off a convincing mystical kinda guy.
Snipes has played many characters and I think can stretch to fit the role.
Jackson is more of a tormented soul kinda guy and he would also be a good
choice for Lachdanan. Just my thoughts 8) Ooo I used mark as read to get
past the trolls lets hope I didnt miss anything important LOL SMOOCHES!

From the first time I saw this thread way back last year... a reminder of
the absolute BEST person for the role of Gillian:
Ginger Lynn Allen

:)

and I dont think that Dustin could pull off being the Rogue.
Pepin maybe....
