I haven't been able to get my game to run...I have attached the Debug.txt
the game spit out after I ran the
video test and tried to run the game...It recommended the DirectDraw, but
when i try to run this game it tries to start itself for a split second and
then just stops...Anyone else having these problems? The video test might
not have anything to do with the problem why it won't run...But I am running
out of ideas......Sorry for the off the subject question, but I couldn't get
help anywhere else and was hoping someone could
in here...Below is what was written in the debug.txt file...
Thank you for any help you may provide.

I had a similar problem. I think it is related to certain 3D cards and DirectX
7 compatability when the game runs in 3D. Here is what fixed it for me:

1. Uninstall D2.
2. Make sure you have the most recent HW drivers for your Vid card
3. Download the current D2 patch (V1.03, I think) from Blizzard
4. Reinstall D2; but... during the video test, it may recommend directdraw 3d
etc... choose 2d instead.
5. Install the D2 patch
6. Run the game

If this works you can go back and re-run the video test and switch to 3d
graphics (which are not really needed in this game IMO). If the game won't run,
youve isolated your problem. Switch back to 2D by re-running the video test
again.

Cheers,
Mike

Could it possibly be that the game takes 64mb of RAM and i only have 63.4
free RAM?

Thanx for advice,

No. 64 MB is required for multiplayer, but only 32 MB is required for single
player, according to the documentation in the box.
