Command Line Parameters
-superhires Enables 1024x768 and 1280x1024 resolutions
But where is the command line for descent2 win95 version?
TIA
You would right click on the shortcut and add the -superhires after the
quotes on the target line like this
"path to .exe" -superhires
I dont think it works though.

Make sure that the .PLR file isn't set as read-only.

You need to use Windows 98/ME compatability mode (available in XP.) If
that option is not available, you may have to do some hunting for the
equivalent of the Windows compatability toolkit.
How would I enable superhires in win me?
I can get 800x600 but after running descent 3 in 1600x1200 it is very
blocky.

I am sorry i meant the line that looks something like this
Target "D:\DESCENT2\DESCENT2.EXE" -superhires
That should be like what you see when you right click on the shortcut and
select properties.

I have put the -superhires behind the path to .exe thing, and the .PLR file
is not read only, but when I start the game it has the option for 800x600 -
no apparent opportunity to select the higher resolutions.
Do I need to type in a command line or something after the game starts,
etc.? Any info would be greatly appreciated.
