Color Problems with Rendition V2X00 boards and DEscent 2

Does anyone know of a fix for the problems with Descent 2 and the new
Rendition boards based on the new Rendition chipsets, V2100 and V200??? I
posted this question before and noboyd answered. I can't believe I am the
only one seeing this problem. please reply if you know any information on
this problem and if someone is going to try and fix it.

The problem is that the colors are too dark, white is purple, etc.

I was told by Interplay that D2 is not compatible with the new verite chip
from Rendition, hence the color problem. I've gotten used to it, but it's
still a shame. I do turn the brightness way up.
