I still keep an eye on the place. If anyone has not yet played CoD 4
yet, IMHO it is where DF would have got to if NL hadn't made an arse of it.

If Only CoD4 was wide open spaces like DF. Not just the rail runner like it
is.

It is very enclosed, which is a shame, but still damned good fun.
Hopefully a map editor will appear soon.

Just found this group. Little too late it seems. Play DF Extreme
whenever I want to release a little tension. Have played DF since
version 1.

Seems most folks have moved to other releases. I still play Joint Ops
myself.

I played when DF was just out....from versions 1. Loved DF2 and trying to
get back into it. Tried Land Warrior ans was back to DF2 in no time.

Haven't played in a couple years - graphics problem (see other post), but
will play again if I can.

Does the Df Favorites still work?

Hope to see you online some day soon.

DF2 rules!

I got my start on DF2 as well. Loved the game so much I couldn't walk away
from my computer. Met the folks here and switched over to DF(1) -at that
time very few people had a computer that could run DF2 well. Rarely looked
back. The people online made the series a "cult classic" In the end
Nologic killed their own project. They introduced quake/doom style gameplay
in order to appeal to the masses. While the masses were looking for a more
realistic looking open space game environment.

I hope NOvaLOGIC fired everyone in their business development and
advertising departments.

Best Regards,
