Go to this page. http://www.jceason.dircon.co.uk/dagger/dfgaz.htm
Either choose "Daggerfall towns" or "Daggerfall Gazetteer Spreadsheet."
Don't choose the spreadsheet if you don't want to download. Both have
listings of towns in different provinces. The lists tell what kinds of
shops are in the towns and the qualities of the shops, plus a whole lot
more. You should be able to find a fair sized list. That is all that has
been compiled up to now. Jackie gets the credit for thinking up this huge

"thank you Jackie."
But seriously, though. That takes a lot of work, and it can be very helpful
especially when picking a place to buy a home! :-)

Thanks for the ad, Zek! The only thing that kicks out of the spreadsheet
for Daggerfall is a rusty pawnshop in Charway. Unfortunately, Daggerfall
has yet to be covered in detail and I suspect this is likely to be the last
province to find a volunteer! Could be we'll have covered it all in bits
before we get all the others out of the way and someone draws the short
straw!
And we need to remember to say 'thank you' to all the idi.... erm,
volunteers who've been wandering around gathering the info to go in the
spreadsheet!

And it would be even easier house hunting if people would contribute some
info on their favourite houses for the real estate pages!

Are you sure that the houses for sale remain the same from game to game?
I keep hearing that The Dark Brotherhood Building is for sale somewhere
in Daggerfall, but I've never found it. But I found two of them for sale
in a town in Wayrest.

Wayrest...the only province where you can own The Dark Brotherhood :)

Well various posts have been made over time to suggest several people have
found the same house in the same place more than once. I think at least 2
different people have admitted to seeing my spellsword's house in Vanton,
for instance, so there's some evidence to suggest a certain amount of
consistency here. Of course, if I was given some more info I could check
into this more thoroughly! ;))
There are at least 3 towns in the western part of Daggerfall province
(Arkhope, Tamwick, and Blackfort) which have rusty pawnshops. Sadly,
noone has recently found one in Daggerfall City, nor do I recall hearing
about one in the eastern part of DF province.

You can add Holmarket and my favorite in the area, Longwark.
Near the north border there is also the small village Longing, which
has a smithy that give great prices, often better than the rusty
pawnshops in the province. Though of course it only accepts
armor and weapons.
