Hi there. I know you guys will call me a wimp and say that I suck,
but this one mission that I am on is hard as fuck. Its the one where you
have to guide your guys through this building and get your three engineers
to these rooms. But along the way, you have lots of enemy troops and those
damned dogs. They made this mission way to damned tough. If I go north,
troops and dogs kill me, if I go west, I get to these grenadiers who kill
me. And the same goes for the other ways. Whats up with this shit?? I
have about 12-15 minigunners, 1 medic, 2 lousy spies, and 3 slow unarmed
engineers with 35 minutes to do it. Any you guys have a strategy to make
it through this?? Hell one time I didnt even get out of the friggin
starting place man. Thanks.

Allied Mission 10B

First of all, make sure you have enough time to complete this level. The time remaining on your timer is determined by how long it took you to get inside this building during mission 10A. If you recall, when the missiles were launched a one hour timer started. The longer it took you to get inside after that timer started, the less time you well have to complete the inside mission, 10B. You well probably want at least 30 minutes to complete this mission. If you do not have at least 30 minutes on your timer then you well need to replay 10A.

When the mission begins there well be a couple of groups attacking. Keep your units close and do not move them. Once the shooting is done, the medic can heal everyone.

Now you need to go get Tanya. Use a spy. REMEMBER TO AVOID DOGS. Leave everyone else behind and grouped together. Take your spy to the right of the elevator and south. Should be arrows on the floor, follow these. Go to large room with Mammoth tanks ( the tanks are of no concern in indoor missions, so do not waste time on them ). Go to south entrance. Once into the entrance the spy disappears, to be replaced by Tanya.

Now that you have Tanya— waste everyone, throughout the map. If she needs healing, take her to the medic. Be careful of grenadiers, dogs and that turret in the NW. Take out everyone and everything except everything past the turret in the NW. Leave that for last.

Now you can send an engineer to each of the control centers in the SE, SW, and NE. Walk them right up to those little control panels. You well hear a voice say something like, "control deactivated". This is not like taking over enemy buildings, so don't look for little flashing arrow cursors.

Now regroup with Tanya just south of the NW turret. There is a control panel just past it and to the right that deactivates it. An engineer can deactivate this. But don't send him, since he'll get fried. Heal everyone first. Save at least one gunner behind and one engineer. Rush the turret with Tanya and gunners. Send engineer to panel. The gunners and Tanya should provide adequate cover for engineer to sneak past. Once the engineer reaches that panel the turret well deactivate.

Now regroup and heal once again. There are a couple of guys left to waste in the last room, and one more panel to deactivate. And then you are done.

Remember how to deactivate turrets. This well be most useful info in Allied Level 13.

For further info, I suggest Roger Wong's Internet Strategy Guide for C&C Red Alert. Simply write e-mail to "nerv...@inconnect.com" and put "send reinforcements" in the subject line. The guide well automatically be sent to you as a text file. Pleas be sure to tell Roger "thank you" for his hard work.

Hi Unkas! Hi Story!

The mission is 10b. The following excerpt from the Red Alert internet
strategy guide (full text at www.netcomuk.co.uk/~cncfaq) should help a
little. If it doesn't, write back and we'll take it from there to
solve the specific problems you're having with the mission.

best,
Roger

6.13 SCG10EB
You are deep inside the control center, the clock is ticking, and you
have very limited resources. If you have less than thirty minutes when
you start this mission, quit, and replay the previous mission – the
time remaining at the end of mission 10a is the time you get at the
start of mission 10b.
Leave your units where they are for a few moments until you've
killed a couple patrols. When you move your units, move them in groups
of five. When the enemy comes along, you want to shoot at them in
force, not piecemeal. The enemy will usually pick on a single soldier
at a time. Identify your enemy's target, and make the medic heal him
in the midst of battle.
Move your units south until you hit the mammoth tanks. Send your
spy south towards the "exit", and Tanya will appear. With Tanya as
your point, explore the passages.
Take Tanya and an engineer north and east. Kill the soldiers,
disable the first control center. Go west, and do the same to the
second control center. Head north until you see the flame turret. Heal
Tanya to full health, then set a demolition charge on the flame
turret. Heal Tanya again, afterwards.
North of the flame turret is the third control center. Disable it
with an engineer, and head all the way east and north, and disable the
final control center.

Okay here is some strategy. My father and I spent a hell of a time getting
through this mission. According to the official Strategy guide, it is the
HARDEST mission in the whole game!

Mission 13: Destroy the weapons facility.
Difficulty: Very hard.
Mission objective: Destroy the weapons facility by placing explosives on all
generators.
Starting forces: Several Rifle Infantry, 4 Engineers, 2 Medics, 1 Spy.

Please tell me if this is the mission you are describing and I will be glad
to send you some strategy. =)

is this the one before the one where you have to capture the Soviet Command
Centre or nukes will start flying ?
if yes then :
>bring about 5 minigunners and a spy and try to get to lower portion where
there is a hanger with a number of tanks.
>have a soldier or spy get to the entrance of the hanger at the bottom most
area and you will get Tanya and the rest will be history.

I've been stuck on this level for the past few days - I can only apologise
to anybody easily offended by bad language in my local vicinity.

There is an easier (and maybe better) way to do the above bit - scope out
the flame tower bit with a spy - get an engineer to full health and place
him at the right of the entrance - tell the engineer to go to the control
computers ON THE RIGHT - (note this is NOT the missile silo one which is to
the left and up) - amazingly the engineer will survive and get to the
computer, at which point the flame tower will blow up. Heal the engineer
(he will be down to about 20%). I think this is better as you don't have
to risk Tanya.
