It's been a very long time since I played but I think you have to get the
engineers inside of each computer - so they can take over them.

You do realize the post you replied to is nine months old don't you? I
rather imagine he has moved on by now to other games and missions.

IIRC you have to move your engineer right onto the non-slip square in front
of the console.

What I'd really like is to just skip it, as it's really lame.
