I am running 01/02 with the 3.9.68 patch installed. I have a AMD 2600, 512
Mb of DDR RAM, 120 GB hard drive, Audigy 2 sound card, GeForce 4200 graphics
card, Asus A7V-8X MoBo, and am running XP.

When I try and load my sace game, I get the message "Unable to write data to
disk. Debug Info: v3.9.68 Setup..cpp 9090 (load_game_data(): unable to
unpack the temporary files) Championship Manager has been unable to write
data to disk, reasons for this could be (1) lack of disk space, (2) file
locked by system, (3) bad sectors on disk being written to."

Then, when I click OK, I get the message "v3.9.68 Setup..cpp 1044"

I haven't used any editors/patches on the game. I tried resetting my
machine, which hasn't worked, and none of the files are read-only. I don't
have any programs running, other than those XP starts up with, and that's
previously caused no troubles. I also tried running checkdisk to try and
counter any errors on the hard drive, but no joy.

I asked this on the SI forums, but no joy, so, has anyone got any ideas?

So you have checked problems 2 and 3. How about checking for 1 and looking
to see if you actually have much free hard disk space?

109 Gb. Suficient room?

But yes, I suppose I coulda said that specifically. It's not hard disk
space, that's for sure...
