Anyway - she told me that she could not trust me and I was too loyal to the
guild of thieves
so she told me to get lost.
I wasn't very polite to her though - but then why should I be, in a
graveyard, at night.

Apparently Bodhi doesn't accept dealings with you, if you are
yourself a Thief. This is so that you can get the Thief stronghold -
because the Thief Stronghold quests depend on the Shadow Thieves' Guild,
run by Aran Linvail, continuing to exist, and thus you have to side with
Aran (and with Gaelan Bayle).
I suspect that, if there had been another six months to work on the
game before release, you'd have been able to be the new master of the
Thieves' Guild under Bodhi's new thieving guild.
(Or, indeed, you could have had the option of siding with Mae'Var
against Renal and Aran Linvail, taken over management of the *old*
Thieves Guildhall, and had Mae'Var be the one who transports you to
Spellhold, and organised crime in Athkatla would be taken over by the
Night Knives... that would have been a nice idea. Perhaps Mae'Var could
be persuaded to join forces with Bodhi instead of opposing her, to allow
for a Thief protagonist to gain a stronghold if he sided with Bodhi?)
