spiders. Ouch. And Ouch again. Third try, ouch. Fourth try, and I learn a
little more. Keep in mind, now, that I have read the spoilers PRIOR to this
battle ever happening. Hrumph. Lotta good that did. Fifth try, My
character, CG Female Elf Archer, and Korgan are the only ones still
standing. Caught them in a skinny doorway, Korgan was the plug, and mowed
them down one at a time.
"Chaos Rules!"
"I quite agree, Korgan, Love, but doesn't that mean chaos becomes all that
it loathes to begin with?"
"Any more mouth like that, Lass, and you'll meet me bloody Axe!"
Well, I thought I'd try one more time with that tactic in mind. It was all
going wonderfully until....total freeze. My, I hate M$.

That learning bit is supposed to be the fun part. I just hope it isn't
becoming frustrating.

Have you considered making your weak characters invisible? How about
quaffing potions of free action? Holy Smite? Abi-Dalzim? Running away real
fast and closing a door? If all else fails, lower the difficulty level.
