I'm SO disappointed... Possible spolier: Crom Faeyr.

Hi guys and girls.

I'm having some problems in BG2 - SoA. I have found all the things needed to
forge the weapon Crom Faeyr
(http://www.geocities.com/stigmata_dk/inventory.jpg), so I went to see
Cromwell, hoping I would get the magical warhammer.

But he can't forge it. He says, I'm missing the girdle of frost giant
strength and the gauntlets of ogre power
(http://www.geocities.com/stigmata_dk/cannot_forge.jpg). I don't get it. Not
one bit of it. I have, indeed, all the four items to forge the hammer. They
are all clearly visible on my inventory screen, as you can see.

What's wrong? What can I do?

Yes, I know I ask a lot of questions in this groups, but I'm a newbie to the
world of AD&D and RPG in generel, so please help me. :o)

2. Where can I find it?
3. How do I use it?

An editor which allows you to edit character files and save games.
Good for fixing problems like yours, or cheat and make all your
characters super(wo)men. Whatever is your cup of tea, of course.

These suggestions probably won't work but:

Make sure all the parts are in the same character's inventory

Take the items out of the inventory and put them back in

You don't have all the necessary things. The girdle sold in Adventurer's
Mart isn't the right one. You get the frost giant girdle in chapter five.

I see that you have the Hammer of Thunder bolts, found in mind flayer lair
in the sewers.
Also the Gauntlets of Ogre power, found on an Athasian halfling warrior in
the sphere.
You also have the scroll, found on Thax the Shadow Dragon in the Temple
ruins.
This girdle you have seems to be the girdle of Hill Giant strength (STR 19)
which can be bought from Ribald. You need the girdle of Frost giant
strength (STR 21).
You can find it on a demon warrior in a Kuo-Tuan lair in the Underdark.
