noob question again...

hello guys,

dumb question i guess... but what exactly is encumbered:can not move, haw
can i avoid it or end it?

In the inventory screen, look at the weights in the bottom left. One is how
much your character is carrying; the other is how much they can carry (based
on STR). If the numbers are yellow, then they are carrying nearly as much
as they can manage. If red, then they're really struggling and will either
move at half speed or not at all. Best bet is to give some stuff to someone
stronger (e.g. Minsc...).
If it happens after fighting strength-draining enemies (some undead and
apparently the infamous Revenge Spiders...), just wait for it to wear off.

become encumbered due to strength drain reducing his strength so he

You are trying to carry more weight than your character is able to (he/she
is not srong enough).
Drop one of your heavy items or give it to another, stronger character to
carry.
