BG2: Damm I wish I was a paladin! (Spoilers)

Hi,

I just managed to kill Faarkrag (Spelt Incorrectly) and have collected the
armour and the paladin sword +5!

Damm that's a good sword. I'm thinking of dropping a party member just to
pick up the NPC paladin.

Go for it. You can do some very nasty damage against devils and dragons with
Carsomyr, especially on a critical hit. I think my cavalier did 50 points of
damage to pit fiends more than once.

Yeah, its worth it - Keldorn is pretty decent once you give him the
Gauntlets of Dexterity and a Girdle of Giant Strength.

Yep, Kelborn can use Holy Avenger just fine, and what a damn good
sword it is! However, there is something innately cool about
having your own protagonist holding this awesome sword. My
Cavalier is using it and it just looks great thru and thru. I'd
like to have a double-weapon proficient ranger with Drizzit's two
scrimitars on each hand someday.

Tell me about it. I built a Cavalier (Paladin) and once I got Carsoymr, I
never use anything but. I have done 50+ points on critical hits a few
times. Once I even took out a lich (the elemetal one) in 2 swings. And the
ability to dispel magics with a hit is VERY useful.
