bandit camp-help

I have been trying to find the bandit camp for the last 3 days but cant find
it. I found the person in the woods who should take me but I killed him
,Ididnt realise at the time that I needed him.
Is there any way to get to the camp without starting again, all my group are
level 6/7 at 155days.

If you play your cards right with that mage (Tranzig, who is
also mentioned in one of the letters on Mulahey, or in the
chest in that cave) in the feldepost inn in Beregost, your
map will be updated with Larswood and Pelvesdale (or
something like that, can't remember actually). Then just
clear these areas and you'll come by some tents in the north
of one of these arease. There are some bandits an
hobgoblins: probably no problemo. The big cheese is in the
big building.
I played it this way too, but it is probably better to join
them and get a chance of confronting Tazok, which you won't
be able to the way i described above.

Confront Tranzig on the first floor of the Feldepost Inn.

I have the same problem, even after I had spoken to Tranzig at the Feldepost
Inn. The bandits camp doesn't even appear on the section of the map where
the camp should be.

This is the best way to do it, but I think there are more than one guy
who you can trick into taking you there. However, I did it this way,
too, and my feeling is that you are passing by a good opportunity for
clearing out bandits in Larswood and Peldvale by doing this, as they
didn't seem to be there after I got the letters in Tazok's tent.

Correct me if I'm wrong, though.

You have to attach Tranzig first ... then he will spill his guts.
Then your map is updated with the bandit camp.

That's what I meant to say..its best to kill Tranzig first. However, if
you don't, there are a few bandits who can lead you to the camp.
Killing one of them won't hurt.
