Anyone else used the +1 con axe as unlimited healing potion?
How about killing "good guys" and export/import to get equipment while
still keeping them in the game?
How about saving just before solving major quest, then solving it
multiple times with each char alone in import/export loop for big exp?
How about giving evryone the best equipment via import/export copying?
(I wonder what the priest in the first temple was thinking when 6
rookies with exact replicas of his fullplate+1 (and his +2 hammer
aswell) came through the temple gate...)
Ok, maby I'm the only player who is this spineless...

Before you buy.
Why don't you simply use an editor to give your characters multiple copies
of whatever equipment you've found? It's the same end result, only much less
work.

That's funny - I find it perfectly easy to resist.

That bug is fixed if you install the patch.

If I started killing my own characters, I'd have stopped role-playing, and
since IWD is a role-playing game, at that point it would become worthless.

I can't imagine deliberately doing anything that boring.

It's not what you've got, it's what you do with it that counts.

It's a possibility...

I didn't have any problems resisting the urge. In fact, I never had the
urge to begin with.

Not really. I noticed it would very slowly heal my dwarf, but I could
accomplish the same effect just by resting.

Why? There is more than enough good equipment to go around. I can open my
own magic shop with all the axes, maces and the like that I found.

'bout as exciting as watching paint dry. What would be the point? The final
battle is a push over anyway.

Same as above.

No, I'm sure there are more. Give yourself some more credit. You don't
need to cheat to have fun and do well in IWD.

Let me think... at one point I imported a couple of death spells (after
literally half a day of getting mashed, it's no longer fun -- sooo). Early
on in the game I was a stinker for importing a cleric in to one of my
empty slots (I have four characters: fighter/thief, mage, cleric, ranger)
to heal up the party.
Thankfully, however, I'm currently exploring the Severed Hand, and I can't
remember the last time I cheated. Guess I've found the xp-level at which I
don't get annihilated all the time...
