TOSC: Getting rid of Lycanthropy?

I completed the Island quests and returned to Mendas, only to have him
turn Werewolf on me. He said that only he can remove the curse of
Lycanthropy that is now on me. However I had to kill him.

Should I be concerned about the Lycanthropy? And if so, how do I get it
removed? TIA.

As I understood the conversation I had with him, you cure yourself of
lycanthropy by killing him (the chief werewolf), so you should be OK.
