REQ: Should I dual-class my Kensai or Viconia to thief?

At the moment, my party is as follows-Human Kensai, Minsc, Jaheria, Yoshimo,
Aerie, and Viconia. Now, I know you eventually lose Yoshimo, and get back
Imoen, but as I'm not good with wizard spells, I make up for it with offensive
power. Now, I eventually wanna have Valygar and Keldorn in my party, so my
ideal party would be-my Kensai, Viconia, Valygar, Keldorn, Minsc, and probably
Aerie for mage backup and extra healing. Of course, now the problem is that I
have no thief. So, what should I do? Dual Class my Kensai or Viconia and
pray?

There is only one option here. Viconia is an Elf Drow. She cannot dual class.

A 9th or 12th level kensai dualed into a thief makes for some of the most damage
dealing one hit wonders in BG2. Period. Just buy potions of invisibilities, and
you can backstab repeatedly for massive damage.

Don't you mean 13th level? As far as I can remember fighters get extra 1/2
attack at level 13.

Can't dual Vicky and, depending on your PC's level, you might not want
to dual him/her (I wouldn't after 13th level of so). Ditch Vic or
Aerie (one cleric is enough) and keep Imoen if you want a thief (you
probably will want one).

I'd probably have the Kensai and Keldorn up front, Valygar and Minsc
running interference and Aerie (or Viconia) and Imoen in the back.
But that's just me. You don't really _need_ a thief, but the game can
be annoying without one.
