He's from the UK, I don't believe their version comes with a map.

It's like 2 or three maps straight south of the Ironarm Inn.

Dear All,

I've only just started playing Baldur's Gate, and now some of my party want
to go to Nashkel. I've got the Forgotten Realms AD&D campaign set, but I
can't find Nashkel anywhere on the maps.

Can someone help me out? I don't know which direction to start heading in,
and my party are really starting to grumble about Nashkel!!!

If you bought the game, you could look at the map that comes with it...
If you copied it, then head south, you can't miss it.

Kyle.

I'd say there is absolutely NO WAY to oversea Nashkell, 'cause it's on the
built-in map of the game.
I knew where Nashkell was even before I got Khalid and Chahira...

I think that comment was uncalled for ... many of us who bought the game
didn't get a map...

There is definitely no map in the european version of the game....but don't
ask me why! Usually the US-Versions just are the best, which really is a
pity; even the box is nicer to look at, as the 'european box' has to have a
standard format.....

There is an explanation to why this happened (the maps) on
www.bgchronicles.com. They also have a scanned version of the map and
the reference card which I also believe was left out.

It's on the in-game map. When you go to the map-screen you can click and
hold your left mouse button down and scroll to see areas either north or
south of where you are. Nashkel is south.

And when you have Jaheira and Khalid in your party it should be pretty
obvious that you have to go south.

I must say I am also quite suprised anyone would have trouble finding
nashkell.

It was more the implication that the person hadn't bought the game I was
complaining about.

here you'll find all maps you'll need...I have them already and it helps
great...Europe versions didn't get all these extras...only one small
manual...Guess they at bioware/interplay thought we all have played AD&D for
a long time....

Naskell is south of Beregost. Go east from the Gorion Death map one,
south one to Beregost, and continue south.

You can also consult the world map on our site. We have included every
surface map in the game without a fog of war, and an overall map that
shows all 50 areas and their relative location. Click on an area, and
get the map.
