I assume you mean the statue in the Underdark, in the Kuo-Toa lair where
you emerge back to the surface. You don't wake up the statue itself, but
you need to sacrifice an animal/beast to it.
Use Monster Summoning of some sort and direct the creature to stand in
front of the statue. That should do it.
