What do I do with Winter Wolf pelts?

Sell as many as you can get to the shopkeeper in Nashkell for 500 GP apiece.
They are a steady source of cash once you are about 4th-5th level--just go
to the mountain tile west of Nashkell (you know the one) and hunt Winter
Wolves. The guy will take all you can drag in (at 10 lb encumbrance apiece,
you'll run out of slots first).

Frankly, given how the game treats the Ankheg Shells and Wyvern Heads, I
think this a bug rather than a feature. Ankheg are harder to kill and more
dangerous, as are Wyvern. The Ankheg Shells weigh 100 lb each although the
Wyvern Heads are lighter, maybe 15 lb each. However once you have gotten the
Ankheg Armor from Taerom Fuaerium (sp?) he won't buy any more (up until then
he'll buy as many as you can drag in). You can get 2000 GP for the first
Wyvern Head at the Temple east of Beregost, then the big Inn in Bereost will
buy the next set you sell (*always* sell all of an item type at once!) at
500 GP apiece. Then they drop to 300 GP each or less.

anhegs harder then wyverns?
do you smoke crack wheres you head boy. baby ones are easy but the adults
can fight back.
also there skulls weigh allot if I remember right.

In the context of the original post, this means that *both* ankheg and
wyverns are harder to kill than Winter Wolves. There is *no* assessment of
the relative difficulty of ankheg and wyverns.

I think the wolf thing is because 500gold isn't really that much gold
