sorcerer solo - irenicus dungeon

Hi all,

I am trying to start as sorcerer a solo in SoA...

In Irenicus dungeon (may he rot in Hell)
more precisely in the Ellesime room,
how can I take th portal key... without dying ?
Portal key is in chest, and the chest is trapped...
and as soon as open it,
my sorceress die... :(
Not enough HP ?
I cannot even use Yoshimo for that, as he is in the second level... :)

Any idea ? If I have a familiar, (and a little bit more HP so)
will i still have this problem ?

Try protection spells. Mirror image might do the trick.

What spell picks did you take?

Cast Stoneskin so that you take no damage from the spear by the chest or
the physical component of the poison trap. Cast Knock to open the chest.
If you die immediately, lower the diff level and try again. If not, pause
immediately, grab the items and press "z". The poison will wear off while
you sleep and will not do damage to you while you sleep.
