When I was exploring Nashkel, I came across some guy named Noober. He
started following my group around and bugging us every few seconds or so.
Man was he irritating. At first, I cast an Entangle spell on him and we
just walked away, but later, he caught up with us again, so I decided it was
time to fry him. I checked my Rep and it hadn't been affected afterward, so
I guess it's not too much of a problem, I'm just wondering if this is going
to mess me up later.

If you let him talk to you (about 30 clicks or so) you'll get some xp!!!

If you put up with Noober eventually he'll say that he has nothing more to
say, then he'll walk away and you'll get some xp. I don't think that killing
him will actually screw the story line up at all.

Unless it affects the sequel - maybe his family will come and give you a
good talking to.

I can't remember exactly, but I killed the guy...
He was driving me nuts, first I thought I could knock him unconscious,
then he'd be back, so I got Imoen to shove a few arrows into him.

I can't remember what happened to my Rep points though.

I think you get about 800 XP if you can tolerate him following you around
until he eventually gets bored and goes away. This takes a long time
(particularly frustrating if you've actually got a life and therefore can
only play for max 30 minutes a day{:~). Personally, I think there's a
great deal of satisfaction to be gained from killing him, plus you get all
of about 14 XP AND no effect on your rep. I suggest a fireball spell if you
have one - do it with a bit of style.

It's not quite so bad if you don't walk away, but talk to him about 30 times
in a row. Have one hand on the mouse cursor to click on Noober, and the
other on the number on your keyboard that ends the conversation (or on the
Enter key, I'm not sure); this way he's just a *minor* pain; one that gives
you xp in the end!
