I've got Edwin and Imoen in my party, and both have memorized Minor Spell
Trigger and Spell Trigger. Everything used to work fine, but now Edwin
can't use either of his spell triggers. His special abilities button is
greyed out and inaccessible. When I have him cast either of the spells
again, there's a message saying that he can't have more than one instance of
each spell at the same time (or words to that effect). Imoen is fine,
though.

Any thoughts on what's going on? Am I missing something? Is it a bug? Can
I fix it with ShadowKeeper?

Thanks in advance.

Scott

An annoyingly common one, yes.

Close BG2 and go into your BG2 folder. Open your baldur.ini file in a
text editor, and, below Program Options, add the line.
Debug Mode=1
Save the file and go back into the game. Hold the cursor over Edwin and
press CTRL-R. That should clear his sequencer and trigger, letting you
recast them.

Thanks Kish, that worked.

Can I leave the new line in baldur.ini, or should I remove it before
continuing with the game? Thanks.

Feel free to leave it in, it won't hurt anything as long as you keep
your fingers away from CTRL during play.

Or kill him and resurrect him. Has the same effect, and is quite
satisfying into the bargain!
