Hello,
I intended to play Bg again with a neutral Fighter and dualclass him to
a Fighter/Druid before starting Bg2.
However I think that I made a big mistake in rolling his stats.
I gave the char. 15 Charisma points and just found out, that this may be
unsufficient
for a druid, as the main-stats have to be >17 for dualclassing.
What should I do now, as I don`t want to start all over again?
I know that there is a tome of Charisma somewhere in the game, but this
would give me only
one point.
Is a workaround possible with the charisma-cloak?
Has anybody tried this?
I hate cheating, but if all other methods fail I guess I will think
about it and change the stats by one point with a trainer.
Will this affect my ability to import the char. in Bg2 ?
Any help & suggestions appreciated.

Greetings Steffen

I'm not sure but I thought it only had to be THE main stat (wisdom for a druid)
that was over 17.

Can you play to you get above level 2 and then hit the dual class button and
see if druid is available to you? (Just don't press OK to do the deed!)

Mary.

No unfortunately not.
Cleric works, but no option for Druid :-(

As I recall, Druids require both WIS and CHR to be 17 to dual-class. Also,
you must be Neutral alignment. I would suggest judicious use of the
Gatekeeper or TeamBG editors. Yes, some people don't abide by "cheating",
but as long as you don't give your character 25's in all his stats its not
that big a deal. As a suggestion, if you don't want to "cheat", simply use
the editor to move INT points to WIS or CHR, or some other attribute. You
could have done the same thing at character creation, but you weren't fully
aware of the requirments.
