Hello all,
I must be being a bit dense. I can't find the bandit's camp, which from
posts that I've read here is in a place called Cloakwood. I killed everyone
before I realized that I needed to try and join the bandit's. So now I'm
trying to find them the hardway, and I just can't seem to do it. I've
cleared out both Larswood and Pelvdale and still can't find it.

Can anyone give me directions to the camp? I'm really tired of being in
chapter 3.

Thanxx,

Adam

SPOILER

The papers in Mulahey's chest should have pointed you towards Tranzig in
Beregost. [The top floor of Feldepost's Inn]. Deal with Tranzig and
he will tell you where the camp is. It then appears on your map and you
can walk to the area in the normal way.

The problem is that I had to wipe and reinstall my system. I didn't loose
my stuff, but all of the areas that I'd found were now not visible. So I
need to figure out how to get back into that area, with no access to
Tranzig.

Damn!!! There's some one that you kill (I think in Beregost) and it is
added to your map after. If you go north, past the farm that's N of
the Friendly arm Inn that's where it'll be. Sorry I couldn't be more
specific. I have a walk through that I can look through if you want.
E-mail me if you want more specifics.

The problem is that I've had to wipe and reinstall my system. I was able
to get my characters back when I installed over my old install, but I lost
all sites on my map. I've had to go back through and find them. And the
guy isn't there to kill. So I'm trying to figure out how to get there
without him being there.

So you're saying, Feldepost's in is blacked out (unexplored), and after
you've read Mulahey's letters, Tranzig is not there. A few options, if so.

1) Try reading the letters again, to re-load Tranzig. Be sure to talk to him
before you attack him. It's that conversation that updates your map. I
gibbed him w/a Wand of Frost, before he would give up, but my map was still
updated.

2) You may have to start the Nashkell mines again, to re-load Mulahey and
the letters.

3) You may have to start over if that's not possible.

4) or press CTRL+TAB, then type:
CLUAConsole:MoveToArea("AR1900").
This should teleport you to the TopLeft corner of the Bandit Camp. Be sure
you have Cheats=1 in the Game Options section of your Baldur.ini file. While
I do not like to cheat, in this case, if all else fails......

Thanxx for the info. To further explain my problem, the areas don't show on
my map. But when I expose them they show the areas I'd discovered before,
so I don't have to redo everything.

I have successfully opened up the bandit's camp on my map. Someone pointed
at that the on the far right of the area between Friendly and Beregost there
is a group of six bandits. You kill all but one, I chose to leave Deke
alive. He then surrendered and told me where the camp was.

Thanxx for you info though. That could prove useful if I get really stuck.

The camp should be visible from ....... [Spoiler below]

.... either the northern edge of Larswood or the western edge of
Peldvale if you have cleared out all of the bandits. But watch for
Raiken in the far NE of Peldvale ["It's your choice which hits the
ground first - your weapons or your heads"]. He starts the conversation
as soon as you see him and gives you a chance to join up.
