What are the exact differences between these races?
I know elves gain a thac0 bonus while using longswords and possibly also
bows, but how about half-elves? Do they gain any specific bonuses. I also
know that their stats differ, but is there anything else?

elves get a +1 on dexterity rolls and a -1 on constitution rolls.... elves have
better thieving skills and a higher resistance to charm and sleep....
half-elves have a higher max strength and they have more class opitons
