BG2: Korgan's Quest in Ch6?

Clearing out the sewers before you meet Korgan is fine and won't affect
anything. His tomb is in another section that is not affected by the chapter
change. Just pick him up, go back to the tomb and lo and behold some new
enemies should appear, along with the item Korgan is interested in. At
least, this is what happened to me (though not in Chapter 6 specifically).
The end-of-chapter bad guys are hiding behind another passage, which you do
not have to go through until you're ready.

up, so I've always gotten the "Domn this place has been plundered" message
in the Tomb near Bodhi's Lair, which then means you need to go visit the
next step along the quest (i.e Pimlico's Estate in the Temple District).
You might need to try to strike a conversation with Korgan to get him to
tell you that.

Take out the end-of-chapter bad guys, restore any love interests, then
pick him up and go on his quest as normal.

That's what I was hoping, but the other entrances to the under-level of
the graveyard district are all blocked in Ch6. Unless I've completely
forgotten where I'm supposed to go.

Cool, that's what I needed to hear, thanks. Wasn't sure if defeating
the end-of-chapter folks would move me into Ch7 or give me the leeway to
finish up in Ch6-land first.

All the other entrances *from the surface* are blocked: the only entrance in
is directly into Bodhi's lair.
However, you *can* walk out of Bodhi's lair, out of the door that Haz and
his golem opened for you in Chapter 3, which remains open all the time, and
into the original part of the crypts, and then out of the southern entrance
to the Southern Crypts, where you can complete both Korgan's and Edwin's
quests.
