Armor question

I had been wearing a platemail suit full of Creature Self spells on my main.
Now that he can cast 7's in all three schools, I wanted to switch him out to
Covenent armor. I got frustrated with not finding decent pieces (primarily
just high base armor but with Melee wield reqs instead of Magic or Missile
Def reqs).

I've switched him out to Greater Shadow Celdon with each piece being imbued
by a different elemental shard. Basically the suit is AL 260, is still
enchantable with item buffs, and provides medium cantrips for the four kinds
of elemental protections.

I guess I'm happy with the results, but I'm wondering if there isn't a
better suit of armor he could be wearing that wouldn't be too terribly hard
to acquire. Any suggestions?
