RELEASE UPDATE - Jan 28, 1996

Here is a Duke Nukem 3D update from George Broussard:

Duke Nukem 3D is just about done. We're back from our SuperBowl party
(Cowboys Rule! SID!). We're up here for one final
night of work on the game. We're gonna test it till like 6AM or so on Sunday
(really Monday morning), and then release it Monday evening
after a final check on Monday afternoon. Assuming nothing stupid comes up, it
goes out on Monday evening.

Stay tuned to this page for any updates to the situation. It is difficult for
us to get on to this web site to update you with information, so if we
don't answer messages, this is why.

President, 3D Realms Entertainment

Here is a Duke3D Release Update from Joe Siegler:

As of the writing of this page (Sunday night at 10:30PM Central Time on the
28th), no legal version of Duke Nukem 3D has been released. As
George says above, the real release is about 24 hours or so away. Keep your
eyes peeled!

When Duke Nukem 3D is released, I will be announcing it here, as well as on
the newsgroups alt.games.apogee, csipg.action, csipg.misc, &
csipg.announce. I will also be sending it out over our Internet Mailing List.
Just keep your eyes peeled to this page, and you can't miss it.

I will also be posting here the list of the FTP and WWW sites that I will be
uploading to once the game has been released. We realize that
our Web server only holds 200 people at once. We are going to be putting in
some new hardware shortly that will allow us to up this limit, but
not in time for Duke Nukem 3D's release this week. Because of this, I have
contacted several FTP sites, and they will have the game for
download as well. The list will be posted on this page.

Online Support Manager, Apogee Software

I can't wait guys!
