An AGP-Card without AGP-Support!
3DFX says that 16MB are enough. Thats wrong!
The Voodoo3 has problems to handle many of the games written for Voodoo2!

After 2 days I removed this shit, sold it and bought a ASUS V3800 TNT2 TV
32M for the same price as the Voodoo-shit. And this card is really great !

there. Heck i'm even having a few small problems with the card right now but
yet i'm still backing them 125% why? well cause they have done what i think

Keep things in perspective. The card is still relatively new. New drivers
will come out to fix the quirks with some games. You see the V3 card as
having problems with the games. I see the games as having problems with the
V3 card. Is your glass half full or half empty?

I have a V3 2000 AGP and have never had a game refuse to play because it
only has 16 megs RAM.
16 megs video RAM. More than 60 times more memory than my first computer
had in total system memory (Tandy 1000EX. Bad ass computer in it's day. 3
voice sound and 16 color video - but I digress......)

Keep things in perspective..........

try getting your facts straight.the voodoo3 does use the agp functions just
not for textures.why?because it don't need too.if agp texture is so much
faster then how come the voodoo 3 w/ 16 megs of ram is still faster then the
tnt2 with 32 megs of ram?i'll give you a hint,BECAUSE IT'S BETTER.all you
get with the tnt2 over a voodoo3 is 32 bit color(that still is not being

I've had no problems whatsoever with my V3. I think it's a good card, not
excellent but good. I haven't had any problems with the TNT2 either. They
are both good cards so why don't you whiners just shut up.
