AMERICAN NAZIS ONCE AGAIN SHOW CONTEMPT FOR INTERNATIONAL LAW
PHILADELPHIA, Pennsylvania (ADMS) - The NAZIS, who control the U.S.
govrernment have once again shown that they do not respect the territorial
sovereignty of other nations. A Canadian, James Sbzali, was convicted on
Friday, 5th April of 77 counts of violating the U.S. trade embargo on Cuba.
What makes this case a real concern, is that virtually ALL of the acts
that he was convicted of took place on CANADIAN soil, where what he was
doing was LEGAL. This is yet another GROSS violation of International Law
by the NAZIS of the RELIGIOUS RIGHT who took over both houses of Congress in
1995 and the White House in 2001.
This sets a DANGEROUS precedent for ANY company who does business with
Cuba, REGARDLESS of where they are. There are a LOT of companies that are
going to be RUNNING SCARED.
Ever since the American Nazi Party (a.k.a. the "Religious Right") began
their takeover of America in 1995, there have been numerous attempts to make
U.S. law apply overseas. The now-defunct Communications Decency Act would
have made foreign sysops liable for material they posted, if it could be
access in the U.S.
And most recently, the arrest of Dmitry Skylarov last year, shows that
the FACISTS who now control the American Government are willing to arrest
people for activities unertaken OUTSIDE of U.S. territory.
The Religious Right has also been known for taken well-intended acts,
and
twisting them for the own purposes. The War On Terror is an example of that.
I can see Iran and Iraq being called an "Axis Of Evil", but NORTH KOREA?
North Korea is NOT a terrorist nation. The Religious Right has UNDOUBTEDLY
involved in that one. It is NO SECRET that the Religious Right would try
and overthrow EVERY socialist government, if they could. Some of these
lunatics from the Religious Right have advocated overthrowing the
governments
of Vietnam and Cuba, as well.
CUBAN EXILE ORANISATION IN UPROAR OVER PRO-CASTRO BILLBOARD
TORRANCE, California (ADMS) - Some right-wing Cuban-exile nuts are
having a fit over a pro-Castro billboard in Torrance, California. This
was recently posted on the Website of the radical right-wing exily group
known as Alpha 66.
The website commentary calls the sign as Torrance and Western, with
the word "Fidel" in the center, and his likeness to the left, an "insult
to the thousands of Cubans living in the South Bay". This is typical of
a group like Alpha 66. They have been know for years for carying out
terrorist
attacks on the Island, including numerous hotel bombings in 1997, which put
several major international sporting events in jeopardy, including the
1997 World Water Polo Championships and the 1998 World Figure Skating
Championships, which were both held in Havana, Cuba.
There is a new and growing Cuban community in Torrance. While the
Hispanic community in the Los Angeles area has been mostly Mexican and
Central
American, that is beginning to change, as Torrance starts to become the
"Little Havana Of The West".
If you are wondering WHY this is posted to a figure skating newsgroup,
well, two Cuban-American figure skaters have moved to Torrance, since 1998.
Michelle Kwan moved to Torrance in 1998 to begin her studies at the
University
of California at Los Angeles, and Sasha Maruzal Cohen settled in Torrance in
2000, after emigrating from Cuba.
The presence of both Cuban-American skaters has helped to give figure
skating a boost in Southern California. While NEITHER skater was BORN in
California, figure skating has become much more popular in Southern
California
with the presence of both skaters.
If Kwan could ever regain her form (which I really do NOT see), and
become the first American lady to win 5 world titles, and Cohen can improve
to championship level, they could make figure skating in Southern California
as common as say, in Boston.
The North American Championships, in Ensenada, this past January, were
very much a success. They were the first major figure skating event EVER, to
have been within driving distance of most of Southern California. Until
recently, figure skating was something that was NOT associated with Southern
California. Heck, the ONLY rink in the Southland is in San Dimas, and was
featured in the movie Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventures, in 1989.
There is even interest in bringing the World Championships to either
Southern California, or Northern Baja, sometime within the next few years.
