SOUTHFIELD, MI — Two of Michigan’s senior Democrats are calling for
U.S. Rep. Rashida Tlaib to delete a social media post, which the
pair says contains an antisemitic phrase and acknowledge its
potential harm amid the ongoing Israel-Hamas war in the Middle East.

State Sen. Jeremy Moss, D-Southfield, and Attorney General Dana
Nessel, both Jewish, spoke to reporters Monday at the Southfield
Public Library to call out the post, wherein Tlaib, D-Detroit,
defended last week use of the phrase “from the river to the sea,
Palestine will be free” as an “aspirational call for freedom, human
rights and peaceful coexistence.”
