I don't vote, but those of you in the US who do might find this
interesting. I'm going to post this to activism board also. I'll also
attach the activism board for those of you who may not have it.
Does Your Congressman Endorse Torture?
Note: please, PLEASE circulate this. If your representative or Senator is
on this list, print it out, bold their names, and print it and distribute
it at political events where you live. For the sake of what America stands
for, TAKE ACTION.
This September, Congress approved the Military Commissions Act of 2006,
(Senate Bill 3930, House Bill 6166). This act gives the President of the
United States sole and exclusive power to determine what constitutes
torture and what (if any) punishment shall be meted out to those who
torture. Further, the President would have power to declare any person a
terrorist on his sole authority, without evidence or oversight, and hold
such persons imprisoned indefinitely, at home or abroad, without even
revealing that those persons are in custody or even exist.
Based on George W. Bush's open statements that practices considered by the
rest of the world as torture, including near-drowning, beatings and
electric shock, are not torture so long as they do not lead to actual
death, it must be concluded that any and every person who voted for the
Military Commissions Act of 2006 supports and endorses torture.

Under the condition existing now! I would hope so!!
Good to see a few D's in there. Mostly R's, though.
The N.S.A. has got your number, twinkletoes.

If hooking up jumper cables to a muslim's testicles can stop another terrorist
attack, then I'm all for it.
--
Be thankful we're not getting all the government we're paying for.
Both of you have just proved your ignorance.
It will probably kill you in five years or less.
>--
>Be thankful we're not getting all the government we're paying for.
I am. Very.
First they came for the terrorists. But I did not speak out because I
was not a terrorist... Then they came for me...
Remember these lines when it is your turn in the next ten years or so.
Torturing people is bad karma to say the least!
And think about who decides who is a terrorist. Their environment? Their
families? The police? That new anti-terror agency Bush and Cheney funded
recently?

If nuking Israel off the face of the planet can stop another terrorist attack,
Thanks for your input, Mel.
Notan
Wiping Islam off the face of the earth would work much better. If killing
every Muslim is what it will take, then lets get started.

the arrogant jews tortured mel for over a year, trying relentlessly to
destroy his movie and mel himself. They pressured film distributors to stay
away. They even filed in France and other places to try and officially ban
the movie. The arrogant jews also insist they have the right to censor the
christian gospels, to change history and delete anything that might
"offend" their jewish sensibilities
so then mel gets drunk and spews off about it.
and the egomaniacal "chosen people" try to destroy him once again. Mel
should tell you all to kiss his butt
I used to be a supporter of israel until I saw how selfishly the jews act,
especially in their anti-christian bigotry. Why should anybody support
jews, when they support nobody but other jews.
ROFLMAO!!!

Racist, schmasist. What he said makes sense so I am glad Mel said it. We
do not want kikes in the business of making movies.
We're everywhere, and the only way to avoid us is suicide.
Go for it!
Notan
so much for the "chosen people" aka "jewish supremacists"
go suck another dick, you reverse-racist little fagboy
[Note: the "you are a racist" post quoted above was made by the same fag
pedo who has been hanging around apas for a long time. His trademark is
that he says "you are a racist" and then sets Followup-To: alt.test. That's
just the usual little fagboy sneaky trick. Nothing else can be expected
from a trite homo.]
Can you explain in polite terms why it was necessary to bring anti-semitic
remarks into the discussion? Or are you just trying to piss somebody off?
Considering the muslim belief that ALL non-muslims are infidels and
therefore good for nothing but being killed then I agree, it's time to wipe
out the muslim hate machine.

Someone had just posted an obscene and offensive message approving torture. I
echoed his message back at him.

Yes, like I said, I echoed his message back at him. Why do you have a problem
with that?
Do you honestly think a moron like that could respond to rational debate?
All you will get from nuking Israel is dead, buried and roasting in hell
