This is a biweekly list of free newsserver that will be crossposted into various free Usenet newsgroups.

BINARY SERVERS:
speedium.nl (new tier 1 backbone in testing, free binary downloading and posting allowed temporarily)
xsusenet.com (25 gigabytes a month, speed limited, renews every month, no posting)
usenet.farm (Free trial for 10 gigabytes, no posting, not reusable)
free-usenet.com (Abavia, limited to 1 mbps)

(alt.binaries.freeware & alt.uk.free.usenet.servers removed as per mixmin policy)

I found this in my logs, where I make no claim as to current accuracy.

Neodome on port 563(SSL) was always available for posting.
Neodome on port 119 was always available for reading.
As of about June 1st 2018, neodome is available for posting on port 119.
(I think this stopped working, inexplicably, a few weeks ago.)

Neodome.net probably should not be listed as binary server since it was
never intended to be one. The server is just not filtering out chunks of
binaries it receives from other peers, but those chunks are basically
random little pieces, they are not good to assemble file back unless file
itself is extra small.

Real binary Usenet server would cost more than I’m able to afford to spend
on free project.
