Hello,

thanks a lot to all of you who helped me finding the fractalgenerators i was
missing or 'missed'anyway.

I visited http://www.//fractint.org, to download.

Now after Google i am lost again:

- what is the latest version of winfract? & where can it be found?

A warning, though.

Jonathan Osuch has brought it mostly up-to-date to the DOS version functionally,
but not the Windows GUI (example: type "formula" shows at most three complex input
parameters, although the DOS interface allows a maximum of five).

Most of the DOS-style interface screens are there, however (just look in the Help
under "Fractint-Style Help and Prompts" for info how to access them).

The idea was to be able to run Fractint even when graphics card and/or OS refused
to play along with the DOS version, but not to have the hassle of updating the
Windows specifics ("behind the scenes" Winfract is still a very "DOSish" software).
