I've used Painter7, with the upgrade patch, for about two weeks with
success. A few days ago I opened it up and all of the desktop colors and
tools have a blue hue and a strange degraded texture look.
So I opened my old Painter5 and everything is fine. Any suggestions for
Painter7?

Where did you get your patch? I was just at Corel's download page and the
only patch they have listed is for ver 6.

You have to go to procreate to find the urls, I think, or use the search
at Corel. At any rate, here are the urls, look no further!

http://www.procreate.com/go/painter_update/
(shudder) use this if you have time on your hands or simply love Flash.

Sam,

Since a lot of people had trouble using the Procreate site, here's the
complete list of direct URLs to all of the files in the Painter 7 Update
package. Read through the copied message below before starting and be
sure to download and read the Painter 7 Update Installation Instructions
before doing the installation. Good luck! :o)

Thanks. I had no problem with the site. Unlike many people (it seems), I
don't mind Flash that much. I have developed sites using it before, plus
having a cable modem with average 1.5 MB speed tends to make a person
indifferent, I guess... ;-/

I downloaded the patch, installed it and now have a better (I hope) program!
