Don't you think there's already enough groups for anime ? Just tag your
post in the subject: [FRENCH] [GERMAN]...

You can create as much alt* groups as you want (even if it's bad idea),
the problem is propagation ( and avaibility within binary groups).

Well your isp provide a web-based file-sharing community : dl.free.fr
using your favorite search-engine i'm sure you can find a group that
taste you wish like "anime[XXXXXX].etc etc.dl.free.fr" .
But your ISP will honor any control-message for alt* if the syntax is
correct, their retation rate for binaries is like 7-10 days, for text
it's merly one year (if my memory is right).
I case of trouble ask FFF

I'm not posting or downloading using news.free.fr usenet server.
I'm now for years at giganews and astraweb.
I'm just posting txt file from my isp ip because I don't get the point
to bother configuring something else for thunderbird, FFF.
I'm at the point now I don't know how to get:
alt.binaries.multimedia.anime.non-english
.. accepted or added on the list at
ftp://ftp.isc.org/pub/usenet/CONFIG/active
which is used by GN or Astra to grant access to the newsgroup on their
servers.
By the way thanks for the infos The Mover, but I don't care about the
lame web files hosting on dl.free.fr which are only good for free users
and get the file removed asap if asked by anybody for nothing.
I'm doing my best already to made my post on ussenet downlodable for the
news server from free.fr which is pretty bad and force me to use
shitting blocksize but at last it's free for the free.fr users and have
a very good speed.
ps: a part çà je souhaite juste savoir comment je peux rajouter un
nouveau groupe à la liste ftp://ftp.isc.org/pub/usenet/CONFIG ,pour y
poster des anims comme ca je flooderai moins abmah avec des subs non
anglais et ca sera plus lisible ainsi.

I gave you a link how to create an alt* groups (binary or not), but you
obvisouly didn't understand it.

If you're a customer of proxad the binary retention rate is 4/5 days ,
if you're not you can have acces (on registration) to their usenet
server, but text only ( more or less 1 year retention).But i can't see
the point of binary on usenet, it's made for text and it should stay y as
it.May be back in the days usenet was a good protocol for sharing binary,
but it's not anymore.
