Getting old sucks. I've never been a real attraction for bees, but I
am not comfortable in the woods these days w/out a few "benadrils"
with me...
I'm starting to get that "anaphilactic" response to bee stings. I
have a friend (a bee magnet) who can't work in the woods any more;
being about 70 doesn't help either. I think he got disability (ssi)
for it.
I always thought that allergies were reduced by long-term exposure. I
don't get poison oak anymore except in cuts and scratches. Bees have
proved to be different...
Yeah on the Benadrils, some day probably one of the epipens. But, we got
killer bees, the infamous Africanized bees, that have taken up residence.
Bee trees are creating a wide swath in the woods, for me any way.
