Hey gang, it's been a while (work is killing me) but I'm sort of back
and have completely redesigned The Sushi FAQ. For all you folks who
have been around a while, you probably know what it used to look like,
and I'm soliciting opinions for the new design. It's not 100%
complete, but I'm getting there, and I'd love to hear what you all
think of it now.

Thanks for any feedback!

Better that work is killing you than that you're starving to death because
of lack of work!

Sorry. I couldn't get past the opening page. It was too slick for me. I had
saved your old one, and at 76, that's good enough for me!

Really? I'm actually really interested in why. Was it too much? to
difficult to navigate? I tried to make it easier, so I've very
interested in any feedback as I think I have the only sushi based
website that isn't around as a "made for adsense" website. Yes, the
ads pay the hosting cost, but I do it for the love of sushi, not the
money :)

Yeah, I just wish busting my a** was for me rather than the people I
work for. Oh well, there's always sushi to make me happy :)

It's a little off topic, but i'm just happy to have a job, as a lot of
y friends don't. And my sushi hobby keeps me happy.

Dan and Nick - Hi, guys! You've been on here a long time, especially
Dan I think This board was pretty lively at one time, years ago.

OK. Maybe it's because I've gone from W98 to Win7 and am still on dialup. I
tried going to various opening and lower pages and got nowhere. I hope it
works well for more advanced (not chronologically) people.

Been on since 1993 I think :) Yes, we've had livelier activity.
Its hard to keep up with it though. I don't eat sushi nearly as much
as I used to.. But I'm definitely due. I think more people are
going to other forums, as USENET slowly dies off.

So I was out fishing last week, no luck on a keeper sized striper.
But I did hookup with a 3' Pollock. It snapped off as I was reaching
for it, guess they have teeth since the line was shredded.

Anyone make sushi from Pollock? I know I can fry it up good..

It's your dial-up, Nick. If that's all you can get, I commiserate with you.
We're moving to a house on a road with no cable & no dsl, so it's dial-up or
satellite (which seems to be a real rip-off.) I remember when web-sites were
built for dial-up and had very limited band-width demands.
