So, we went to Hardees and I ordered the bacon & cheese thickburger with no
mayo and would they add ketchup, please? We saw them tally it on the order
pad at the drive-thru (yes, we did the drive-thru) and when we went to the
window, they confirmed my "special" order. Meanwhile, I knew the burger
came with raw, red onions on it, but to avoid more confusion, I figured I'd
just take the onions off after I got my sandwich.
The sandwich was $3.99 plus tax (I didn't order the combo), before we left I
glanced at it, yep, it's a bacon cheeseburger, and we were off to my
mother-in-law's house.
While on the road, as I was picking out the onion, the sandwich was sliding
all over the place. I was like, "What the heck?" Sure enough, the tomatoes
had a white coating all over them. They scraped the mayo off!!!!! They
gave me a pre-made sandwich, scraped the mayo off and added ketchup.
Unbelievable.
The positives? At least it was a big sandwich. It took me over 2 hours to
eat it and I couldn't even finish it. The lettuce was crisp, the tomatoes
were ripe and not green, the bacon was thick, and the cheese was melted.

Steve, I'm still alive, irregardless of what your therapist's say.
