Although I probably won't vote personally this year (because of certain
reason's) and I never have before, I suppose it woul dbe good to decide
what one to vote for for when people ask, and just in case I find myslef in
the voting booth. I don't know a lot about them, but which one would best
serve the fast-food industry? IT was common knowledge back in the 90's that
Clinton was a majar Mcdonald's fan, so maybe democrat is the way to go. Has
Obama has anything about Mcdonald's?

But just this week President Bush voted twice to bail-out he banks... now
I know this will NEVER happen, but just in case, Mccain would be morely
likely to bail-out the fast-food industry if need be? It will NEVER happen
becasue fast-food has billions of dollar's of sales, but just in case I
would rather have a president that would protect the industry. Did Obama
vote to bail-out he bank's?

Has either side said anything to get support from the fast-food industry, or
promise to lower fast-food taxes/prices etc?! Who is more likely to
bail-out taco bell/mcdonalds?

And PLEASE this is a serious discussion I am asking about, keep the troll
sUNDER the bridge I just want the learn the FACTS just in case I vote this
year.

Personally, I don't think there is a candidate in this election; both
parties are whacked. Here's an interesting little quiz to get you jump
started.

My vote didn't turn out the way I expected it to in that link, but that's no
big deal.

Interestingly enough, the election is already dictated by the electoral
college, but Florida (where I live) is split 27 republicans to 27 democrats,
so the public actually has a say. Either way you look at it, if Obama gets
in, he'll be assassinated, if McCain gets in he's going to pass away in
office. We've really got to take a close look at the running mates and I'm
not thrilled with Palin.

Mine did, but I *was* surprised that some of the quotes I thought wewre
one candidate's were the other's.

Palin reminds me of GWB. And that scares the shit out of me.

I'm glad "that one" is on the ticket so I can vote for him :)

I don't think either ticket would give a shit about bailing out the fast
food industry, though.

Since McD's is a hang out for the elderly chances are McCain will do
whatever it takes to keep McD's in business, but I'm going for Obama

Bush thinks he's on a mission from God to spread democracy to the rest
of the world... and he hates fast food.

Jerry - your grasp of politics and finance is outstanding.

Your last day to register to vote was 2 days ago, so you won't be voting
this year. And seeing as how you've never voted in 12 years, you
obviously aren't registered.

Irregardless of whether you vote or not, I would just vote for the other
guy - the opposite of whoever you vote for. That would negate your
vote. So why even bother voting?

Bzzzt, if you don't live in Wisconsin then it won't negate his vote.

He doesn't know that! (his vote's already negated). Thanks a lot, buddy.

Wrong, because the Fast-foof industry is EXTREMELY good for the economy...
it provides cheap delicious food for million's, and it employ's must be over
100,000 people, becase rememer it's not just the store workers, it's all the
corporate people, the farmer's, the truck-driver's and construction people
that depend on the industry. Probably more like 500,000 people. And
especially if the president eats there personally, like Clinton did, then
they would want to bail it out.
