I lost a recipe for popsicles a lot of years ago and was wondering if
anybody has heard of one like it before. It went something like this: Mix
1 tub of Crystal Light with a certain amount (?) of water. Separately mix 1
envelope of unflavored gelatin with a certain amount (?) of water. I forgot
if the gelatin needed warm water or if you heated the gelatin and water in
the microwave. The object was to completely dissolve the gelatin. Then you
mixed the dissolved gelatin and the Crystal Light together and poured into
popsicle molds and into the freezer. The purpose of this was to avoid
making a popsicle that is as hard as an ice cube and impossible to bite,
which happens if you try just freezing Crystal Light by itself.
Unfortunately I lost the recipe before I ever got around to trying it, to
find out if it made a softer popsicle.
Thanks for any help,
Marv
