Low-Salt/Fat BBQ Sauce
1 12-oz can of no salt added tomato paste
1/2 c dry white wine, helps replace the salt ;)
1 tbsp dry mustard
2 tbsp red wine vinegar
1 tbsp worcestershire sauce
1 dash tabasco or to taste
1/4 c brown sugar
1 tbsp mild chili powder
2 tbsp chopped yellow onion
juice of 1/2 lemon
1-1/2c water
2 tsp liquid smoke
Blend all ingred.s, in a heavy pan, simmer for 25 minutes.
