Apple wood - What Kind

To be more specific is Crab Apple wood. I just trimmed up a Crab Apple tree and
would like to know if it is any good to use?

For staking vampires, not so much. For bbq, it'll be fine. Smell the smoke
and if smells good, then use it.

It's fine, I use it all the time. Like you have trees that provide it
free.

Let it dry first. Crab grows so fast that it's perfect for mild smoking...if
you have a big one or a couple middles, you'll have smoking wood forever.

Thanks for all the replies guys. I am on my way out to cut it into a smaller
size and set it for drying.
