Has anyone had any experience with this product? I tried Brad Hollands Gas
smoker and was not impressed. His thirty day warranty was also a joke.
Cookshack has a thirty day satisfaction guarantee and I am thinking of
trying it.

I use a cookshack and I'm very happy with what it can do.
The company has very high customer service ratings, which I
can also attest to.
.
Keep in mind that smoking in an electric smoker has some
differences from conventional pit barbecue.

If you have specific questions about the cookshack ask away.

I find electric ovens produce less of a smoke ring in the final product. The
difference is a matter of taste. There are circles where the smoke ring is
one of things that makes it "authentic" Q. I have yet to have a single customer
raise the issue so it's not a problem for me.

Others may have their own comments.

I had one about a year and sold it. Cookshacks are convenient and easy to
use but have distinct limitations. IMHO you can make acceptable BBQ in one,
but it will never be as good as that made in a real wood-fired smoker.

Go to http://groups.google.com/advanced_group_search
and search the newsgroups for <cookshack> . Read the posts and decide for
yourself.
