Someone at this group suggested checking out a combination
gas/charcoal grill. Went to Char broil, and it sounded okay. But, I
got the distinct feeling that it may be one of those hybrids that
aren't very good in both categories.

Has anyone tried out this grill? It's a pricey $380 grill, which is
about how much the Weber Performer costs (and all I've seen are the
rave reviews for it.)
Any comments will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I'll let you know. I'm going to try mine out tomorrow. But I didn't pay
380 for it. I got mine from HD for 199. I asked the guy if that was the
right price and he said, "YEP that's what the register says..." I said OK!
I took it home and put it together...promptly pulling the huge sticker off
of it that said 249.99
