Gang,
Bought a 20lb. bag of "Everflame" charcoal logs from Walmart last week. Have TRIED to use them 3 times. This is without a doubt, one
of the worst bags of charcoal I have ever used. Unless all the other bags are different from mine, they just don't burn. When I
bought the bag, I thought, "how cute...little logs". Well, they didn't end up to be so cute after trying to cook with them. They are
made in China. Didn't know that till I got to reading the label in detail at home. Not going to get into that subject. My Momma
taught me to never discuss politics and religion when in the presents of company. One would think that Walmart would have run a
cooking test on these things before selling them to the public. Guess I'm of the old school. I'll guarantee you one thing...when
these things are gone, they won't be selling them again. Don't think the average bbq'er would go for them twice.

I liked them also, Start fast and easy using a chimney. I used them
for a quick grilled Yellowfin Tuna steak. Had it on the table ready
to eat in 30 minutes from start to fork. Seems like the hole in the
middle gets them going fast!

I'll keep about 3 bags around...

We've gone so far as to take stuff back (unused of course). Reason
for return: Made in China -- "take that Geek!"

Oddly enough, we have never ended up paying higher prices, just
getting different stuff... otoh there have been a couple times where
we just couldn't find a replacement, so we did without.
