There are actually two not too terribly far from where I live here in
LA. One in Redondo Beach where Wilderness Park is now (near Prospect and
El Camino Real) and the other on Palos Verdes up the hill from Long
Point, where Rancho Palos Verdes city hall is.
(The coolest thing I've seen in this vein, though, was the Farm That
Wasn't a Farm right on the coast in Northern California. It was a WWII
radar facility made up to look like a farm; I discovered it by accident
on a vacation there a number of years ago.)
