Arnold Schwarzenegger is in My Home Town

rumour that Arnold Schwarzenegger has a waterfront home here. (Before that
they said that said John Cougar Mellencamp had one but anyway) It gets
reported in the local press every once and a while with of course no proof.
Lots of stories from people who "know" he's here because; a) they saw his
hummer; b) there bank tellers husband worked on the house; or c) (place
other stupid story here).
It bugs me because it's such a irrelevant E.T./People magazine story. I
mean you cares if the guy does live here. Also it's so stupid because our
town is 97,000 people so the local morning d.j. can't fart at the bar on a
Friday night without the whole town talking about it on Monday. So the idea
that Arnold et. al. could some how build a big house and sprit in and out
of here all the time without anyone really seeing him is ridiculous. Still
the there was a local magazine article about it recently, ironically under
the title "Urban Legends" (a fact seemingly completely lost on everyone),
and the secretaries in my office are convinced that it's a all true and they
know a foaf, etc, etc. Any way my question is this, I know that I can't
disprove the negative but is there anyone else out there from like Lake
Geneva or Maine, etc. that has the same story kicking around there home
town?

Here in Santa Cruz County (CALIF) during the making of the movie
"Shadow Riders" Tom Selleck was reported at several places in town.
But he never came to Santa Cruz County. All of his sceans were shot
elsewhere.

I don't know. One reason Kelowna has come up might be the incredible
position it has in the world. This is one of the most picturesque spots
on the planet served by air. Not odd that it might be chosen as a
hideaway by the rich and famous.

Nice, but even I can get around that one. House reputed to be owned
by reclusive retired movie star. So one goes down to the Town Clerk's
office and looks up the deed for the house. House has been
purchased by Equity Associates. No record as to who Equity
Associates is. Yearly taxes paid by Equity Associates, Wilmington,
Delaware. Equity Associates is not listed in Wilmington phone book.
Now what?
